Chapter 11: When He Has Nothing to Do
Sky''s China Branch was rmed by the bug report. After Chang Yun''s report to Director Guan, a meeting was held.
There were seven people in the meeting room, Chang Yun from the core development team was there with Director Guan.
Direction Guan was a man in his mid-forties with short grayed hair and wore sses. He looked toward Chang Yun, "Have you confirmed it is a bug or a hidden mechanic?"
The game was programmed by many people, and many ideas became a world. Olympus was used to help them tounch the game they have programmed, so as long as it was not considered a bug, Olympus would not patch it or warn them there was a bug because the Super Computer did not detect it as a bug.
"I have inspected the picture, it''s not edited," Chang Yun reported his discovery.
Duan Mu Sheng rolled his eyes at the youngest member of the team, "Why bother to inspect the screenshot? We can easily find it out by looking into the id," he waved his hand at Chang Yun and looked toward another person.
"The bug report is true, there is a user called Runner and he is indeed level -10," a man in his early forties, Yuan Ren reported.
"How is that possible? Have you found out why it happened?" It was a simple thing, but Tribe Online failed to see it.
"It''s our team''s negligence, Director Guan. The death penalty" Yeah, it was the death penalty program that screwed them up. Upon dying, the yer would lose one level. It was a harsh penalty but they used it in Tribe Online.
Director Guan was relieved when he heard that, "So it was the program, not Olympus'' fault?"
Yuan Ren nodded his head. It was a faulty program so Olympus failed to detect it as a bug.
"I have also found this" Yun Rou, a woman in her mid-thirties showed a recording. It started with a clip, a clip where a yer called Runner was killed by Volt and his friend.
Everyone in the room furrowed their brows at the bullying action. No one was expecting that people started to pk on the first day of the game. Especially when they were still level 1.
Yun Rou showed another ten clips. Thest clip was that the yer called Runner jumped off to the God Burial.
"What? He jumped off of the cliff?" Guan Mu Sheng blurted in shock as he stood up from the seat. The shock then soon turned into a smile.
But in the clip, he noticed Runner was logging out midway of falling. Everyone looked toward the Director, wondering why the Director was surprised.
"Yes, I guess he is frustrated by the bullies and jumps off to the God Burial," Yun Rou nodded her head, "What''s wrong, Director Guan? Should we warn the bullies?"
"No! Don''t. We are game creators, we don''t dictate to them how they will y," Director Guan shook his head, "So, can Olympus fix the bug? Or should we do big maintenance instead to check everything once again?"
"We can''t do that, Director. The pro-yers haveined about the mage ss. We received tons of angry emails from them and their fans, if we do big maintenance now, we will be flooded, the investors also may not be happy with this," Yun Rou tried to prevent big maintenance from happening. This was clearly too early for that.
"Who cares about those pro-yers. If they don''t y the game, they are not pro-yer anymore," Guan Mu Shen rolled his eyes at Yun Rou, "We have to be responsible for our negligence, it''s not something bad. The inventors should not have a problem with this, and shouldn''t we work harder so something simr will not happen again?"

It was eleven, Shen turned the tv on and he went to the kitchen to prepare his lunch. He was idle, with nothing to do. When he had nothing to do, he spent his time cooking and eating.
Tapping the counter, he was thinking about what he should eat for lunch. He opened the fridge, there was a fresh cucumber and carrot two days ago. In his eyes, the cucumber and the carrot were still fresh.
"Let''s have ramen," Shen took out the cucumber, carrot, and chili oil from the fridge. He put them aside and took out the instant ramen from the drawer, "Oh, I still have that too."
He opened the fridge and took that little ham left. He got the knife and cut the leftover ham into four slices. His hand moved quickly to take the frying pan and toasted the four slices of ham on it.
While waiting to get the color he wanted from the ham, he took a small cup. He opened the chili oil and spooned it from the bottom. Three spoons of chili oil into the cup, then he added rice vinegar, and
He was looking for honey, but he found out the bottle was empty, "Tsk, no honey then," while grumpily throwing the empty bottle into the trash can, he flipped the ham. The ham aroma started to fill the kitchen.
After that, he took the ramen package seasoning and put it into the cup. He then mixed them.
After he was done with the seasoning, the ham was done too. He picked up the ham and filled the frying pan with the water. He did not want to lose the meat vor and cooked the ramen in the same pan.
While waiting for the ramen, he moved to the next step. Cutting the cucumber and the carrot. He got the knife and ced the cucumber on the cutting board. He sliced the cucumber into two before he cut the cucumber like a matchstick. He did the same for the carrot, of course, he did not forget to stir the ramen while he was at it.
His knife skill might not be the best out there, but he was skilled enough to cut everything quickly. He had been living alone since he was in his first year of junior high school. He had learned to cook his own food since then.
By the time he finished cutting the cucumber and the carrot, the ramen was cooked. He drained the water, and he was ready for thest step.
He got a big bowl, he put the cucumber and the carrot at the bottom before he added the ramen. After that, he put the concentrated sauce into the noodles and started to mix it up.
As Shen mixed his bowl, the cucumbers pulled out the water and coated the noodles, cucumber, and the carrot with the sauces. He had eaten the same recipe many times, but he never grew tired of this because the noodles were his mother''s recipe. They made a lot of noodles together while he was still a kid. Making the noodles together with his mother was one of the best memories he had with his mother.
A tear started to gather up in his eyes as he remembered his mother, but he shook his head. He managed to hold back from tearing up and brought the bowl to the living room.
As soon as he sat on hisfy couch, his phone was ringing. He forked out thetest Orange model from his pocket and looked at the screen. Ming, his best friend, was calling him.
