Hiro walked forward, following the woman who had transformed from a nurse to a nightdy.
There were only five of them now.
The woman led the way while the three men who had changed into new ck suits walked behind Hiro as if to build a wall so that Hiro could not escape.
The atmosphere at the airport looked not much different from the international airport in Tokyo when Hiro apanied his older brother to Americast time.
After walking quite a distance at a brisk pace, they arrived at the exit. A ck van was waiting for them.
“Didn’t you bring anything?” Hiro asked them before getting into the van. It was strange. Though the four people who were nking him didn’t carry anything in their hands.
“Hurry, I told you that we don’t have much time,” the woman replied while forcibly pushing Hiro’s body into the back seat.
Hiro nced at the driver. The man in a ck suit and sunsses seemed not interested to look back in the slightest. He was busy chewing gum. Hiro didn’t know him, of course.
“Johnson Hope Hospital. Hurry!” the woman ordered the driver, and the driver nodded. He immediately stepped on the gas.
Hiro’s ears were tingling when he heard what the woman had just said. He had heard the name of the hospital somewhere.
After repeatedly being hit in the face, Hiro had a hard time remembering things that had been recorded in his brain.
“I am Cath. Nice to meet you.” The woman sat next to Hiro in an ufortable position. She took out a lipstick that had been tucked into one of her high boots and retouched her lips to make them look even redder and bold.
“Hospital?” Hiro didn’t know why he had to go to that ce.
“Yes, but it’s Johnson Hope Hospital.”
“What’s so special about that hospital? It’s a private hospital, isn’t it?”
Cath rolled her eyes at hearing Hiro’s ignorance.
The woman finally finished retouching her lips, then she looked at Hiro with her light brown eyes.
“It’s a private hospital built by the Johnson family for generations. Of course, it’s a special private hospital. They are very famous for always giving birth to crazy doctors… ahem… I mean brilliant doctors.”
Hiro looked at Cath, who was trying to exin the information about the hospital. One of his eyebrows arched, trying to understand Cath’s exnation. Still, he couldn’t find anything special about it.
‘Wait, I think I’ve really heard the name of that hospital, but where?’
Hiro was lost in his mind.
“It’s Jeff Johnson Family Hospital. Do you still not know anything?!” Cath snapped slightly in annoyance. She was annoyed because she failed to make Hiro understand her intention in exining about the hospital. So he couldn’t get how excited she was about it.
Hearing that person’s name, Hiro’s eyes widened.
Now he remembered. Jeff Johnson. The founder of thergest gamingpany, Ninecent.
So, that man also owns a big private hospital?
Hiro shook his head slightly. No, it might be just a coincidence. There was no way a very sessful gaming activist is also a hereditary doctor and owns a big hospital in Washington DC, right?
Cath was about to tell Hiro something more, but the van has stopped and they need to get out.
Hiro and the others arrived at a giant and majestic skyscraper. If there weren’t the giant ‘Johnson Hope Hospital’ written on the front ss-wall of the building, people wouldn’t believe it was a hospital.
“Let’s go!”
Cath grabbed Hiro’s hand again and forced him to enter the building.
The view inside the building was like a typical hospital. Many nurses in neat uniforms walked back and forth. Some of them were walking with doctors in different uniforms.
Not wanting to draw attention from others, Hiro obediently followed Cath and a man in a suit who had fixed his hair so that he looked like a true gentleman. People wouldn’t think that he had kidnapped someone.
They went to the elevator to go up to the 77th floor. Hiro nced at Cath as she took out a card from inside her cleavage.
“This is illegal, but this is going to be fun.”
Ding!
Cath pulled Hiro to walk out from the elevator. They walk quite a distance from where the elevator was.
Within that floor were countless monotone rooms with iron doors that were tightly shut. It didn’t look like rooms for patients and not even like hotel rooms. The rooms on that floor were a bit weird.
In front of the iron door, there was a silver board with the patient’s name on it. All have the same font and set.
Hiro read each of the names, and no matter how hard he racked his brain out, he didn’t know any of them.
“Here.”
Cath stopped in front of an iron door at the very end of the hallway.
And when Hiro saw the name written on the silver board, he had goosebumps all over his body. His body froze on the spot.
[Yamaguchi Yuujin]
“You stay on guard outside.” Cath ordered the man in the ck suit. She stuck out the mysterious card she was carrying on the surface of the iron door.
Click!
Hiro could hear the clicking sound from inside the iron door.
The door moved slightly, letting out a puff of freezing air through the gaps.
At that time, a digital number appeared on the iron door, and it increased significantly.
[-58 F … 14 F]
[Morgue Room is ready]
“Let’s go.”
Cath pushed Hiro into the mysterious room. The air in the room was extremely cold and the light from the ceiling suddenly shed as Hiro entered, surprising him, who still hadn’t grasped everything.
The room was not very spacious, only about 5 cubic meters. Even so, it was quiterge for one person to use as a Morgue room.
Hiro swallowed hard as his eyes moved to a capsule box in the middle of the room. He walked closer with trembling legs, approaching the capsule slowly. His breath hitched as a puff of air escaped through his nose and mouth.
The capsule box was made of pure silver. A material that was known in the medical world to prevent microbial activity. The top of the 1.5 meter capsule was made of thick ss.
It was made of transparent ss so people could see what was inside the capsule.
Hiro took a deep and long breath, preparing himself to see what was inside the capsule.
And when he peeked into it. His knees suddenly felt very weak.
“Yuujin.”
A naked and motionless body was seen submerged in a transparent solution within the capsule.
