Chapter 24: Bloom Strikes Back
The head title of the topic was catchy, and when he opened it, he was astonished to see the number of yers replying, expressing their willingness to kill him.
When he read the topic, he found a photo of him, when he was speaking with Derick before everything. That meant he nned for evil things to do after killing him, but everything went south, directly opposite to his ns.
When he read the reward for killing him for a single level, he felt greatly humiliated. One silver coin for each level! Derick knew his level was five now, but he skipped this info inside the long topic full of badnguage and many bad remarks about his deeds.
He really killed him, twice, and stole the quest out of him, but he didn''t steal Brendy''s girl! Bloom, spontaneously, stole a nce towards Peri, who were closely watching him. This silent look carried a lot of meanings, making her cheeks go rosy.
''So you are mad at me because of this," he muttered, understanding the reason why that assassin was acting like a fool all the time. He sighed, as he didn''t intend to steal any girl, but if he sat his gaze on one, then she would be his without question.
All Brendy could do was toment himself. Bloom just eyed Peri as a nice girl with such a bright future, an ace to be won as a friend, but as from this moment, he would consider her as his girl as well, and let Brendy hit his head on the hardest wall.
"So, he is offering one silver for my head?" Bloom muttered, like he was speaking to himself. the more he thought about it, the more he had the urge tough on that yer''s naivety!
"One silver coin is considered a fortune, don''t underestimate it," Gored said, in a sincere advising tone.
"I know," Bloom just nodded, before he decided to think about something else. This time he was lucky facing one target of his this easily, butter on it might be hard to achieve that.
This topic had caused quite a sensation, as it brought light and focus on Derick and his little gang. Bloom ran his eyes fast across manyments, to spot some asking to join Derick''s group, and be a friend with him.
''It seems there is a good way to establish an infowork then, thanks Derick,'' he thought to himself, as he made up his mind. He needed a strong wide of info, and to do that he must put himself in the spotlight, like all the time.
To do so, he chose to start a new topic, where he named it another name, and he hurriedly wrote it''s simple content, before closing up the forums.
"What did you do? It''s not wise to start the yers''munity hatred at this early stage," Peri said, as she expected Bloom to write an offensive thread, to rely over Derick''s provocations.
"Oh, don''t worry, you can view my topic now," he simply said, as he went to her, and looked her in the eye, with his confident look and charming smile. She couldn''t continue looking at him, as she already had some crush over him.
So, she hurriedly and nervously opened the forums again, checking the thread Bloom just wrote. There were many topics currently jumping all over the forums, as any topic got a reply would appear on top at once.
However, there were two topics that seemed to not move at all, one of Derick, and the second was the one Bloom just wrote.
"A hard toe by offer, be part of my intelwork and get paid in gold! Guaranteed by the system. Firste, first serve."
She looked at the title, before looking at Bloom, who just had a wide smile over his face, then she looked back at the topic, and started reading it.
The topic was simple, short and precise. Bloom expressed his wishes to work with yers as part of a newly established intelligencework. The concept itself was new to her mind, and so she reread it a couple of times before she knew that was what she just read.
An intelligence agency inside a game! who would do that!!
The most crazy part here was the offer Bloom just made. He requested fifty yers to work at once under his agency, paid one gold coin immediately from him, plus one thousand yers to work on a contract for a monthly allowance, estimated with one gold coin each, and increased ording to the aplishments each would do throughout the whole month.
He also admitted him being the man who had a price over his head, and so he put a test for these one hundred yers. Each yer needed to kill Derick and Brendy one time each before sending him a request of business. As for the thousand yers, he asked them to kill anyone from Derick''s team, to be able to apply for this job opportunity.
The concept itself was strange, new but seemed crazy and pointless to her and others who read the topic, however Bloom had put two pictures in his topic, one with his Str stat, showing the horrifying figure of sixty four points, plus a picture of his wealth, reaching one hundred coins.
Photos in game couldn''t be forged, and thus these were authentic. The appearance of these two sent a clear message to all yers; I wee all yers who wanted to kill me, but they would all die, and greatly reward those who would befriend me.
This message was quite clear and to the point that even everyone here just sucked a cold breath of air. They knew from where Bloom got his one hundred gold coins, as he had them, for sure, from the dungeon clearing rewards.
However that huge terrifying stat stood in their faces, and the faces of every yer reading the topic, like a solid puzzle, with no possible exnation at all.
Bloom just watched them on the side, enjoying the funny reactions on their faces. He knew this wasn''t just the case for them here, but mostly all yers in this starting zone would have such an expression.
Only a mad man would choose to be an enemy with him. Derick had posted one silver coin reward, but he didn''t post any reward back for Derick''s head, in return he insulted him by making it part of an admission request, like if Derick was already nothing to him, and he really was.
Bloom didn''t exin anything, despite seeing the questionable look over their faces, as he started to issue a private quest through the game settings.
