Chapter 25: Establishing An Intelligence Agency Inside the Game
Private quests were always a neglected option for yers in Eternal Glory games, until yers started to make out their guilds, or established their bounty hunters associations. Bloom knew about this function, and he intended to fully utilize it.
The interface of the personal quest main page was quite simple, all he needed to do was to select a name, a duration, bounded by the game system or not, the conditions to apply if there is such a thing, the conditions to ept the participants, the main quests, the main rewards, the fate of this quest after the main objectives were done.
Bloom didn''t think much about it, as he named it the wrecking personal quest, then sat two tiers at the quest, one for VIP yers, and one for normal yers. He set the conditions as the same he posted at the forums, with one gold coin being paid at once for one hundred VIP yers, and one gold coin for others after one month.
The criteria to be epted were to issue them a mission andplete it. He thought about missions regarding dungeon ces for now. Starting zone was such a massive ce, and he needed to kill many dungeon monsters from now on. He knew this wouldn''t be an easy task if the team had to do it alone, but now he could use his new intelligencework to do this dirty job for him.
He thenpleted all the other information, putting the admission quest was to search for level five and six dungeons. If it was up to him, he would go directly to level six, but he was the only one among the team to reach level five, as the rest were at level four, some small distance away from reaching level five.
It was safer that way, plus level five materials were still useful to him. As he finished everything, he left handling this matter to the system itself.
Everything would be protected by the game, and thus he wouldn''t afraid yers to double cross him, especially when nobody seemed to get the meaning behind all this.
He just remained silent, and didn''t exin to the team when they kept asking him about this matter. Even Peri, when she asked him, he only said:
"It''s a step for the future."
Only this simple sentence was all they got from him. after they lost all hope to know his motives, Gored asked:
"What now? should we move to kill monsters? Or go to dungeons and kill mobs?"
Bloom didn''t need to think, as he instantly said:
"We will head to level five dungeon, and starting from there we will keep leveling up, killing higher dungeon mobs along the way."
His words made them all full of expectations. Just one dungeon was enough to make them level up twice. Bloom didn''t want to kill their happiness now, as he knew the amount of XP needed to rise from level five would be greatly increased, making clearing a couple of dungeons not worth it.
"By the way, ept my add as a friend," Gored suddenly said, as others also said the same thing as well. Bloom didn''t mind that, as he dly epted everyone here.
Just as he was inspecting the add requests he just had, he got a scare! He had already muted this option, with the yers'' messages as well. He never thought all this huge number of yers sent him requests, and much more sent him messages.
''What a pain!'' he helplessly muttered before closing the interface, then opening his inventory and sending sixty pieces of materials to each one of them. the moment they got the materials, they were surprised, then their faces beamed with excitement.
"Thanks a lot, this amount is much more what we all gained before meeting you," Gored said, before he stroked his chest in pride, "We all have learnt the collecting skill, so we can all help you inside the dungeon."
Bloom just smiled, as he finally had some helpers in this tedious task.
"Do you want any of my materials?" Peri suddenly asked, "or potions? I had plenty from the system rewards," she added. Her words made everyone recall what Bloom had done to them before inside the dungeon, and so they all expressed the same offer to him, however he politely refused.
"Keep them with you for now, if I ever needed anything, I would ask you at once."
He didn''t need materials for now, or potions, as he decided to gather a stock first of materials, then use them at once to upgrade his twin swords.
As for potions, he had enough for now. besides, with his thick blood, he doubted these basic potions would be enough to help him.
Just as they were walking aimlessly, while chatting like this, a row of system notifications appeared in front of everyone.
"System alert: Deran team has cleared the second dungeon in the entire game. Rewards will be sent to each yer, based on the role yed in clearing the dungeon. Assessments are final, and there is no way to ask for reevaluation. Team leader has the right to dere the sess to the whole world."
"System alert: Moner team has cleared the third dungeon in the entire game. Rewards will be sent to each yer, based on the role yed in clearing the dungeon. Assessments are final, and there is no way to ask for reevaluation. Team leader has the right to dere the sess to the whole world."
"System alert: Telk team has cleared the fourth dungeon in the entire game. Rewards will be sent to each yer, based on the role yed in clearing the dungeon. Assessments are final, and there is no way to ask for reevaluation. Team leader has the right to dere the sess to the whole world."
"System alert: Emyo team has cleared the fifth dungeon in the entire game. Rewards will be sent to each yer, based on the role yed in clearing the dungeon. Assessments are final, and there is no way to ask for reevaluation. Team leader has the right to dere the sess to the whole world."
Four notifications kicked in, one after another, which made Bloom suspect there was a hidden hand trying to slow down his own progress in the game.
''Are they the developers?'' he silently contemted about this weird phenomenon. In his previous life, no team was able toplete any dungeon until yers exceeded level ten.
That seemed suspicious, until Gored suddenly said:
"There is a rumor spreading on all the forums of the game, about an info regarding thews of the boss monsters inside the dungeons."
''So, they are the developers, weird,'' Bloom remarked, inside himself, as he was sure this inferior move came from the developers, but he still didn''t know why.
"It doesn''t matter, let''s find the level five dungeon, and focus on clearing it," Bloom simply said, as he couldn''t fight the developers, not yet. He nned to ruin their majestic masterpiece, but he wasn''t fool enough to face them openly like that.
Such a simple move from them had cost him four lost rewards, and even more! So, he didn''t think much about this, as he checked his personal quest interface, looking for any response from yers.
